SOMETHING ABOUT MY PICK GUARDS

In the beginnings of my guitar making, I've used 'off shelf' pick guards. I was never happy with its 'printed' look, so I decided to make it myself. I chose to go with a resin casting method as it gives a nice rounded edge and also gave me the opportunity to be creative with patterns and colours. My goal was to find material with properties that will maintain flexibility and wouldn't curl, shrink or crack over a long period of time, but also, had a good surface toughness as to serve its purpose. After almost a year of experimenting and testing different varieties of resins, I finally found one that does an excellent job. They are now features on all of my guitars. They come in different colours and patterns but they also come in a 'Clear' option as well. Here are some examples:
